Since starting with Christmas cards in December I’ve had fun continuing with these 5” by 7” cards. It’s a way for me to turn my simple illustrations into something finished. All of the cards are original drawings printed through mostly serigraphy and a few with the computer. Every card has a final hand-added element, such as watercolor, cut paper, glitter, or stickers. All the images carry a strong implication of narrative but without a specific story told. The inside of the cards are blank leaving not just the story up to interpretation, but the purpose of the card itself. Hopefully the user of the card will write something unique and personal that has to do with the image and the person they are giving the card to.
